- Exchange students can take coursework in most areas of study
- Commerce specific program available
- Student must have a cumulative average of 70% to be considered for Yonsei.
- Please note that this school is extremely competitive. As such, students may only apply for 1 term of exchange at Yonsei (university-wide agreement)

- Law students can take course work in the faculty of law
- Commerce: When applying to Go Global, UBC-V Commerce students must select 'Yonsei University-COMM' on their Go Global application
- For summer language programs: please review the length and rigor of any short program, as they may not receive equivalent credit if they are not comparable to a language course at UBC
- Please ask your advisor or Korean language department for feedback if you are uncertain about your program

- The faculty of nursing is also open for students to take courses
- When selecting courses, ensure that they are available in the semester for which you are applying

- Undergraduate: 9 to 18 credits (for exchange students taking Korean Language course: maximum 12 credits)
- Graduate: 9 to 15 credits (may vary by school)

Exchange Tuition
- 15 credits or equivalent full-time program fee per term, paid to UBC
- Summer students attend through our exchange agreement and pay tuition to UBC based on the number of credits earned at the partner institution

Scholarships and awards
The Go Global Award $1000
All students accepted to Go Global for Exchange, Research Abroad, or Study Abroad travel programs are automatically considered for this award. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you'll be notified of your award after you're accepted to Go Global and after you get nominated to apply to the partner university.
Additional awards
Students who are eligible for awards may receive one UBC or UBC-affiliated international learning award. If you're eligible, you are always offered the highest-value award. Unless stated otherwise, you need to meet eligibility criteria set out by the University Senate regarding awards.

Information for US students:
If you attend an eligible institution, then you may receive Title IV federal student loans while on Exchange.
If you attend an ineligible institution:
- You will not be eligible for US federal student loans,
- You may invalidate any US student aid you have previously received for your studies at UBC,
- You may be required to immediately begin repaying your US student loans, and
- You may not be eligible for any future US student aid for the remainder of your studies at UBC.

Housing notes
- Yonsei University's international student house, the International House (Gukje Haksa) has all the equipment and facilities required in this day of information, technology and globalization, including LAN connections for Internet use
- Rooms at International House are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis
- Students should apply as soon as they receive acceptance notification from Yonsei as space is limited (accommodates up to 240 students in double rooms)
- Available for undergraduate students, graduate students and KLI students with separate wings for men and women
- A mix of Korean and non-Korean students live in the house to provide an international atmosphere usually during the Spring Semester, though the primary language in the house is English
