Programs with Restrictions
Engineering Courses
To be registered in Engineering courses, you must be applying to be specifically admitted to the Faculty of Applied Science or you must be pursuing a degree in Engineering at your home university. While UBC will make every effort to register Engineering students in their requested courses, registration in requested courses is not guaranteed. Applicants are encouraged to have a back-up plan in the event that they are not accepted into their requested courses.
Engineering courses that are normally restricted to inbound exchange students may be available to students coming to UBC from universities that have a Coordinated International Experience (CIE) student mobility agreement with UBC's Faculty of Applied Science.
