Undergrads, apply by March 1 for sustainable cities development leadership program in Hong Kong

Be a changemaker in the global effort to build sustainable, safe, resilient and inclusive cities. Undergraduate students: Apply through Go Global by March 1 for the June Undergraduate Leaders’ Programme themed Leadership for Sustainable Cities Development in 2023 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, hosted by the Association of Pacific Rim Universities.

In the three-week program, students learn to apply design thinking principles, then apply those to innovative, human-centered solutions to complex issues of sustainability using case studies from Hong Kong and around the world. The takeaway: insights and hands-on experience on the work of the social, public and business sectors in promoting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The overall aim is to tap that global vision to solve urban and sustainability challenges transcending urban and national boundaries in the Pacific Rim.

Program dates: June 26, 2023 to July 16, 2023
Cost: $415 Go Global fee + program fee $740 paid to Chinese University of Hong Kong (includes visa application, accommodation, most meals, program materials and excursions)
Awards: $1,000 Go Global award; up to 10 forum participants are eligible to receive $1,300 from Chinese University of Hong Kong
