Submit your project proposal for capacity-building projects to Academics Without Borders by March 7

March 1, 2022

Academics Without Borders (AWB) is calling for project proposals introducing a capacity-building project in an institution of higher education in the developing world from current or retired faculty members, administrators or staff of a university belonging to AWB’s Network of Canadian universities and colleges.

AWB is a nonprofit organization that supports projects in partnership with universities in low- and middle-income countries. Partners in the developing world themselves identify areas where they need assistance and take the lead in project design and implementation. AWB assists partners by providing the expert volunteers for these projects. After the volunteers have completed their assignments, the institutions themselves sustain the projects’ activities.

AWB will give priority to submissions that can be implemented in whole or in part online, given the uncertainties regarding international travel during the course of the pandemic. Proposals must align with AWB’s mission and operating principles and take place in countries in which AWB works.

Submission deadline: March 7, 2022
