Face-to-face meetings give us a chance to share perspectives, forge personal connections and strengthen relationships. Part of our global engagement work is welcoming friends from around the world to our UBC campuses in Vancouver and the Okanagan.

FOR UBC FACULTY

We support UBC faculty bringing international scholars and university administrators to UBC. We can organize visits or advise faculty and administrative units on hosting their own international guests.

FOR VISITORS

We encourage global connections by hosting delegations, dignitaries, university administrators and representatives on campus. We arrange meetings with UBC administration, faculty members, students and research teams for both current partners and institutions interested in new partnerships with UBC.

OUR CAMPUSES

Guests can visit one or both of our university campuses in British Columbia, both ranked in the 10 most beautiful campuses in Canada by Times Higher Education. UBC’s Vancouver campus is situated at the western tip of Vancouver’s Point Grey Peninsula overlooking the water, on the traditional territory of the Musqueam people. More than 400 hectares in size, the scenic campus is surrounded by lush rainforest and ocean, with the West Coast city skyline as the backdrop.

UBC Okanagan is set in Kelowna, in the heart of BC’s celebrated wine country in the province’s sunny, arid southern interior—the traditional territory of the Syilx Okanagan Nation. With sweeping views of vast Lake Okanagan, the 209-hectare campus is just a four-hour drive from Vancouver.
