Call for Government of India VAIBHAV Fellowships in STEM

The Government of India’s Department of Science and Technology is currently accepting applications to grant Vaishvik Bharatiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAVE) fellowships in STEM fields for up to two months annually over three years. The fellowship is designed to promote scientific collaborations between overseas-based scientists and academics of Indian origin, and Indian higher education institutions and scientific research organizations.The application deadline for the current cycle is March 15, 2024.

About VAIBHAV Fellowships:
VAIBHAV Fellowships focus on collaboration between scientists of the Indian Diaspora with Indian higher educational institutions: universities and publicly-funded scientific institutions. VAIBHAV fellows are expected to identify an Indian institution for collaboration where they can spend up to two months a year over a three-year period.

The Government of India's Ministry of Science and Technology manages the VAIBHAV Fellowships Program. It is one of the key governmental agencies that organizes, coordinates and promotes science and technology activities in India to support new areas of research in the science and technology arena.
