Apply by Nov. 18 for a fully-funded China master's program at Peking University

October 27, 2022

If you are looking to fund your graduate studies, Peking University's Yenching Academy in Beijing, China is accepting applications for a fully-funded graduate program. The Academy's aim is to build bridges between China and the rest of the world through an interdisciplinary master's program in China Studies, and to "shape new generations of global citizens with a nuanced understanding of China."

The Yenching Academy gives full fellowships to its scholars focusing on an array of interdisciplinary courses on China within broadly defined fields of the humanities and social sciences. Yenching Scholars work closely with academic mentors to craft their own study path, choosing courses from six research areas and participating in extracurricular activities and field studies. Students are immersed in an intensive learning environment where they can explore China and its role in the world — past, present and future. The Academy is seeking students who have demonstrated a talent for leadership and innovation.

Apply through UBC's Go Global unit. Successful candidates will join the 2023 Yenching cohort, starting in August 2023.
