Janet Napolitano, Professor of Public Policy at UC Berkley, former U.S.A. Secretary of Homeland Security and Past President of the University of California, discusses the role of universities in bringing together community leaders and discussing how to improve issues, such as global warming, and then sharing what is learned with other universities and communities.

Universities and colleges play an integral role in the communities they are located and can help to strengthen and improve society as a whole.
