Philipe Sutter, former Consul General of France in Vancouver, discusses the importance of global engagement and increased cooperation for a more just, sustainable and thriving world. Issues such as climate change and the pandemic must be targeted at a global level.

For example, AbCellera, a Vancouver-based biotechnology firm, was created in partnership with UBC and a co-founder from France and is at the centre of research in medicine for COVID-19.
