University of Warsaw Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 - CLOSED
The University of Warsaw (Poland) is hosting its 13th Erasmus+ Staff Week, which will take place from June 17 to 21, 2024. Administrative/non-academic and academic/teaching staff, working in the fields of international relations and mobility programmes are invited to submit an application to attend.
The training will take the format of a workshop, conducted by professional coaches, and participants will be asked to select one of the following workshops:
- Intercultural Competences: an interactive workshop on the cultural determinants of behaviour in various social/professional situations to help foster better cooperation with students, employees, and institutional partners from all over the world.
- Intercultural Communication and Academia: the goal of this workshop is to familiarize participants with the most important theories and practical tools that facilitate work in a multicultural environment, especially in the context of higher education.
Participants will also have a unique opportunity to get to know the University of Warsaw’s Central Campus and take a guided walking tour in the Old Town of Warsaw, organised by the University. The Staff Week will be conducted in English.
Funding
Selected candidates will receive financial assistance from the Erasmus+ Programme to cover subsistence costs during the mobility period as well as travel expenses, as specified below:
- Subsistence expenses: €980 Total – for a maximum of 7 days (5 mobility days + 2 travel days)
- Travel Expenses: €1500 Total
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by an evaluation committee formed by the Executive Director of the UBC Office of Global Engagement and three additional members, appointed by him/her, from the broader portfolio of the Office of Global Engagement, under the Provost and Vice-President, Academic (Vancouver and Okanagan) portfolios. Results will be communicated via email.
The following selection criteria will be used to rank the candidates: CV (40%), Statement of Motivation (60%).

FUB International Staff Training Week 2024 - CLOSED
Are you a professional working in Communication and Marketing, Innovation Offices, International Offices, University Libraries, Strategy and Leadership or Welcome Services?
The Free University of Berlin (FUB) invites you to participate in FUB’s 12th International Staff Training Week, which will take place for five full days from June 10 to June 14, 2024.
The FUB International Staff Training Week is targeted at staff from supporting offices at higher education institutions in the field of communication and marketing, welcome services for staff (which includes personnel development and continuing education), university libraries, innovation offices, colleagues working in international offices (at central or departmental level) or strategy and leadership. The programme is open to all staff with a contract of employment at UBC. It is open to full time and part time staff, whether on permanent or temporary contracts, as long as you are on a contract at the time of your Erasmus+ activity.

Funding
Selected candidates will receive financial assistance from the Erasmus+ Programme to cover subsistence costs during the mobility period as well as travel expenses, as specified below:
- Subsistence expenses: This amount is set according to the country of destination and length of stay, according to the approximate cost of living. For Germany, this is a total of €1120 for a maximum of 7 days (5 mobility days + 2 travel days).
- Travel Expenses: This amount is calculated based on distance bands between the home and host universities. For a mobility between Vancouver and Berlin, this amounts to a total of €820
How to apply
If you are interested in participating, FUB invites you to review the details of the six specialized Staff Week programs (referred to as “tracks” by FUB) and complete their online application form. The application period will end on February 7, 2024. No late applications can be considered. FUB will adjudicate all applications, and selection results will be communicated via email in early March.
