Travel to another university with the support of Go Global to gain research experience in a structured, supported environment.
Self-directed
Find a research placement independently at a recognized university or institute under the supervision of a host academic. We recommend you start preparing three to six months in advance of departure.
Non-Go Global opportunities
Apply on your own and direct questions to the program organizer. Some programs meet eligibility requirements for Go Global's Self-Directed Research Abroad Award.
Summer
Self-Directed
Source a research placement on your own at a recognized university or research institute under the supervision of a host academic to build an international network of academics in your research area. There is no set time frame or deadline for planning and doing research abroad, though we recommend you begin research and planning three to six months in advance of your anticipated departure.
